Folded Bellows
Single Layer Bellows are constructed from Thermoplastic films and fabric reinforced Thermoplastic films. With a temperature range of 0° F - 200° F (depending on material) and fold heights of 3/8" to 2", this type of bellows construction is used in mid- to high-volume applications where typical folded bellows may be too cost prohibitive. Also for use in areas where aesthetics are required. Tooling charges and cost range varies, depending on bellows complexity. Single Layer Bellows are clean room class 100 rated. Applications range from camera bellows to CMM's (Coordinate measuring Machines)
